4. Added features. The more features the better, but you also have to consider if you can use these features. For example, a luggage bag with a lot of compartments can be beneficial because you will be able to arrange your items better and you will be able to segregate them. Luggage with wheels is much better because this will keep you from having shoulder pains as you can wheel your luggage down the path with ease and lesser effort.

5. Materials. Luggage made from high quality materials can be a bit pricey but then again these are made to last longer than their cheaper counterparts. In addition, quality will assure you that you will have less zipper problems and you don't have to worry about your clothes spilling out simply because your luggage got torn apart. Go for luggage sets that are made from water resistant materials as this will keep your clothes safe.

6. Design. Of course, any fashion conscious traveler would never forget this aspect. Luggage sets come in a number of designs. Some have colorful designs, while others are more formal looking. Whichever you choose, make sure that you are comfortable with it.
